The Final Venture[Social/Endgame LS]...(updated: 8/14/11)Follow

Hello fellow Istory members.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our LS to a broader audience.

Final Venture was founded by former members of the social LS Crystal Crisis, which was reformed due to the LS Founder going MIA. Since Final Venture was created back in December, we have grown into a very stable and strong group, playing host to members of all Ranks and Classes.

We are not only an endgame shell; we also offer a social and/or casual element that many players may find appealing. For this reason we decided to keep 2 seperate Linkshells. One is solely for endgame activities(which must be applied for seperately with tighter requirements), while the social Linkshell is open for all people willing to apply.

We've got members who play DoH/DoL exclusively, others who stick to combat classes, and playtimes can range from an hour a day to 10+.

If you are interested in joining the linkshell as a more laid back and social/casual player you don't really have to fulfill any requirements except for being a cool, honest and "fit in the LS" person.
We have several members playing every now and then, without having a focus on endgame. They just want to be around cool people and have fun while playing or talking with other members. If you want to be one of our members for the stated reasons, feel free to apply. In case you ever feel like getting more involved in endgame/hardcore content, you can still jump in at a later time, once you fulfill the requirements for joining the endgame events. In any of the 2 cases please take your time to fill our our recruitment form. It’s the first impression of you we will get, so if you won’t put a minimal amount of effort into it, don’t expect us to put more effort into reading it.

Endgame/Hardcore elements:

As I touched on above, we are not solely an endgame shell, but we are focused on being able to compete and progress as endgame content is implemented.

As of this writing, we have fought and defeated all NMs.[First NM killed as a Linkshell @7th February]
R50 Dungeon: Clear (Ogre First Kill 24th July, Batraal First Kill 27th July)

We've got what we think is a very fair and considerate loot distribution system.(based on class priority and attendance)

Our site features automated point/attendance/loot tracking, several community/social sharing applications and all of the wonderful goodness that comes with >>> Guildwork's <<< interface.

We are primarily looking for people who fit in the LS well, and will be happy to be a part of our group in the long-term. But at the same time we want you to be aware of the game mechanics of your class and how to use them efficiently. Battle Regiments shouldn't be a foreign word to you as well.
If your applying for our endgame shell, be aware that we don’t want you to be just part of the endgame shell, but also our social shell. We are a community of players, not a group of people who just do things for their own benefit. For further details and requirements for joining the endgame shell, please refer to our recruitment form on our website linked at the bottom of this post.

Our event times are at around 8:00PM EST currently, though days may vary.
On average, we have 2-3 Dungeon/NM runs a week, with sunday being the only set day. We also do PUG runs every now and then with whoever is online.

Additional Information:

As of 1.18 leves are not really that great anymore(gotta wait for 1.18a), so we stopped scheduled leve linking groups for now. We got several people on different rank ranges though who grind on mobs together, so if you want to be part of that, step up and ask/find people that are like minded. You can do so on our website and/or our members forum and even the schedule, which is open to all members of the LS to set events on. Once there are more group activities to be held on different rank ranges, we will make sure to schedule them on a regular basis to include all our members.
So, if you're looking for a home and/or a strong group (or community) of players with a good attitude, check us out on our website.

He's stopped playing to sort out his job/residence/social/living situation- the game was too much of a time investment.

He may or may not play again, but not for the foreseeable future.
