Hi folks - I was thinking that we could start working together a bit better on the server (especially once retail hits). Since all crafts just about seem to need a ton of materials from other crafts to make finished products and it is difficult to find components from other crafts right now (and may remain difficult at release) - I thought it would be nice to have a thread where we could barter a bit.
Myself, I would really like to make a bone staff but I can't for the life of me find grey sheep leather straps.
I can offer bone harpoon butts, and finished jewelry products in return. In the future I will be able to make some other weapon parts (brass dagger blade, for example). I can also at the moment make 1 finished weapon - the copper scepter for thaumaturge.
If you can make grey sheep leather straps please let me know! I would be happy to buy/sell/trade for them. You would also have dibs on buying the finished product (at a reduced rate).

I'm doing weaving and leather-working. So far I can make hempen turbans, hempen gloves, hempen scarves, hempen cowls, and sheep skin subligars.
If you can make grey sheep leather straps please let me know! I would be happy to buy/sell/trade for them. You would also have dibs on buying the finished product (at a reduced rate).
I've seen regular sheep leather straps for sale at the tanner's guild, but not grey. I could probably try to make it, if you know where I can get the dye. I haven't seen any dye for sale anywhere.

yeah it is the dye that is the issue.
I'm selling Bronze Hoplons, Bronze Daggers and Copper Barbuts at the North End of Upper Keaners Ward. Retainer is a Lallafal named "Duffle". My prices are very reasonable as I'm just trying to clean out some storage space for more loot.
Regarding dyes and the such, I had much better luck finding cloth dyes in Ul'dah and Leather dyes in Gridania-- near the guilds, which makes sense, right?

Hi, My toon is Giatta Autumsun (just realized I spelled it wrong)
I am looking for a 23+ leatherworker to upgrade my maple longbow to a wrapped leather one, I have the mats for 2. MY offer is: make two...give me one..the other is yours.
