I got Deadlight in that Microsoft bundle from Amazon a while back. I should blow through a couple of those games and feel as though I've accomplished something (so to speak). I have Hotline Miami laying around as well.
I have Dead Space 1 & 2 (and no intent in getting 3). Should I play 1 then 2 or is one of them a vastly superior product?
Dead Space is one of my favorite games ever. I know a lot of people who prefer
Dead Space 2, but those are the people who don't typically like survival horror, as
DS2 is a bit more action-oriented. From what I understand, the PC port of the first game has issues, particularly if you play with KB/M. Something about mouse acceleration and aiming issues. I don't know if you have a controller or not, but the consensus is that playing with a controller is superior, for the first title. Apparently they fixed these issues in the port of the second one. I'm not sure what, if any, fixes are available for the original.
Oh, and apparently you want to turn off the in-game v-sync in
DS1, and instead force it through your hardware if you want to enable it.
