Still haven't decided if I want to go Might/Sorcery or Finesse/Sorcery. Finesse gear has damage stats while Might gear has block efficacy. I rarely use the shield block, though. After I got my +15 health drain Chakrams/Faeblades, I haven't had survivability issues, except against some of the bosses that tend to one-shot me.
Faeblades can lock down a troll for the entire fight, which is hilariously OP. Chakrams are just insane when the mobs begin to clump up. Tried a bow and staff, but they were pretty meh. Definitely love the greatswords, though, so I might just to back to Might and switch out my Faeblades for a huge *** sword. And Quake.
I'm planning to go Finesse/Sorcery, with more invested in the former. I'm more interested in seeing what kind of utility spells exist (haven't actually done any research though, since that tends to be an obsession of mine with these sorts of games. But then I spend more time planning than playing, and part of the fun of KoA seems to be finding your own class as you go).
I honestly kept forgetting I even had the shield in the demo, too. Would roll way more.
