Not a bad thing, it just makes me question your judgment a little. :P
Legitimate question: What does LotRO offer that every other MMO doesn't? And I don't mean that in a derogatory way, I mean it as a legitimate question (as it occurs to me that it can easily sound snide without tone).
I mean, WoW (at launch) offered a cohesive questing experience with an interesting character development system, combined with pretty nice character customization and graphics that, while not cutting edge, were quite nice to look at.
It wasn't really anything new, it just did those things better than the most of the market, and the combination made it a winner.
Just curious what people enjoy about LotRO? Besides the setting, which I'll agree is nice. Though I've always struggled with the premise of the game, since LotR is such a story-driven world; how do you turn it into a MMO when so much is about the non-player characters?
I'm going to go ahead and assume that it has grown a lot since beta, when I played.
