I've looked to no avail and cannot find the ZAM reader for LOTR. I love monster play, but you have very little information there. I'd love to get the reader so you can at least have all the info for the items I've encountered.

There isn't one and I doubt you'll ever see one, Turbine's got a VERY strict policy on plug-in's in the game, in fact now that they've allowed some, they have the option to kill em all with a button press on every server.
That's actually not the issue, I think, but yes, we have no LOTR Reader.

Is there any way of submitting info about new items e.g.? since I got an item in my inventory ingame that doesn't seem to be in the database.

Absolutely. You can email the screenshot and any extra info (like who dropped it) to lotroteam@allakhazam.com and put the name of the item in the subject and Instigator will get it added ASAP.
