What craft should I do?
Does lore-masters get other animals to control other than a raven?
What is the best path to take for questing as an Elf?
Are fellowship quests worth it, or are they kinda like WoW now days where the game is more about the endgame instead of the adventure?
Are there add-ons to this game? First or third party.
Any advice for a new player?
Welcome to M-E!
Crafting is wide open, but a Loremaster would probably get the most, personally, out of a
Scholar or
Jeweller. Both can make items that improve some Loremaster skills (like your pets). Scholar makes books that go in Class slot, and Jeweller makes necklaces that increase the powers of your pets.
See our
Quest Series category for info on quest paths.
Fellowship Quests are additional content and drop better gear, but are not required. That said, end-game is NOT the game, here. The story is the game. End-game is just something to do between content releases.
Yes, you can install UI mods, and LotRO moved to the LUA scripting language with the most recent expansion. See
LotROInterface (another ZAM Network site) for more!
Advice... yes, relax, enjoy the trip, look around and go "wow..." at the landscapes and the people you meet (like Glorfindel and Radagast the Brown and Gandalf and Elrond). Ultimately, if you don't take the time to soak in the world of Middle-Earth you won't really enjoy the game.
