Hello All EQOA (especially CLW),
Let's face it... we have all been there. After hundreds and hundreds (and for most of us, thousands and thousands) of hours playing EQOA, we decide to take a break...Only to find ourselves coming back after a healthy break. It definitely goes down in our book as one of the best MMORPG's to grace a console (in my book...the best). I have played this game since day 1 and have been through this endless loop a good 3-5 times by now. To my wonderful suprised I logged on for the first time last night and found 74 people in Freeport! Good job CLW!
Just had to get that off my mind...now to the questions I had for some of you people who have stuck it out and been playing recently:
1) All I remember from the last time I was on was getting 1 zp spell and factioning for the other 2? Went to zp last night and seems the faction mobs are gone?? Can we still get all 3 zp spells?
2) I remember needing one more peice that bert dropped until I could get my LoP spell for necro pet. Anyone still raiding him? If so please list some of the guilds still around since I will be looking for an active raid guild!
3) Any other big things changed? Quests that are really worth it that I need to catch up on? etc....
4) Finally, Was it ever discussed to sony that all they had to do was merge all the servers into one? This would keep all the people that have dedicated so much time into playing the games happy and all active people could play together... Now I could be wrong if the other servers still have enough active players to keep things going. It just seems like it would be nice to merge them all into one or two larger servers. I mean..lets face it, most of us stop playing when others start dropping off the map.
Any feedback or news on quests I need to tryout or guilds I should look into would be great!

The newest content I know of is the zoaran plateau or however you spell it...I only briefly got into that so I can't speak much about it.
There's also the pickclaw "invasion" which is am all level hunt and gather quest and mini raid which takes place in highpass.
Then there's the dawn maiden which is a mid level quest that's heavily being ran with higher level toons over and over.
Oh and there's another orc invasion in fp, which is another HnG at 25+ but popular for farming to sell and quickly leveling up toons from 25-35, the drops are turned in on an island on lake rathe.
One more that comes to mind you might know about already is that they redid the bottom level of the siloth mines(the lowest level before you get to the spiders I mean) to higher leveled mobs for a HnG at 45+(I think) and they wont let you turn normal rings in past that level anymore.
There's still some raids going on in every zone, in my last revisit to the game we hit PoS and in an earlier one PoD and IoD, and I was only passively looking to be involved in raids. As a wizard I often ported random people to the dead hills so there's still a decent amount of activity there.
And as far as I know sony is just keeping the servers turned on while people still pay the fees, I doubt anyone has even looked at the game in over a year or more, merging the servers or even just doing cross server transfers would be a huge undertaking setting up a system to deal with multiple names and I simply don't see them caring enough to do so.
