I think I may have developed a new and expensive addiction. Last week I preordered and fully paid for the the CE for Fallout: New Vegas, and just today I stopped in the local Gamestop and did the same thing for the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood CE. Now I'm taking a long hard look at the CoD Black Ops Elite edition that comes with a replica of the in game RC car bomb. The car actually drives and has a little camera that sends audio and video back to the controller.
Game companies seem to have found my weakness for weird game based stuff and are pushing all the right buttons. Bastards.

I've no idea what the upcharge is on that edition but you have to admit that's cooler than most of the tchochkes you get with Collector Editions.

I don't think they've set an official price yet, but the rumor is 150. That's the same price of the CoD: WaW special edition that came with a pair of working night vision goggles.
I couldn't afford that stuff myself, but I'll be damned if Call of Duty hasn't got their target market pinned exactly.
I pre ordered the FFXIV one, but not because of any of the extra crap. I just want the 8 day head start.

Im not a big fan of CE versions. Usually just overpriced china made junk that comes with them. Last Collectors edition I bought was the game Prey For Xbox 360 and that was because it was in a bargain bin for $20 and they didn't have the regular version (although online it was $30 for the regular version).
