So yeah. I'm playing EQ2, I still like EQ2, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood so I'm looking for another distraction.

Possibly another MMO, but I'm thinking more of a single player game for now.

I like fantasy RPGs, I'll do sci-fi but it doesn't really hit my hot button that often. I also like some RTS, simulations like Sim City (not the Sims), love Civilization games. I can occasionally get into puzzle games. I like the single player FF games (never tried the MMO), the Zelda games, and if any of you remember Ogre Battle for the SNES it was one of my favs.

I don't do shooters or racing games. I've got a PC, XBox 360 and a Wii.

Got any suggestions?

Oh, it doesn't have to be something new. Maybe an older game I missed. Which could be anything, I don't buy a lot of games.

Although I'm not too fond of the game, Dragon Age is highly rated RPG by many. If you like the arbitrary frustrations of Ogre Battle, then you should love the arbitrary frustrations in Dragon Age; heh. If your pc can take it I'd say go PC over 360.

Okami is a very Zelda-like game for the Wii. It has a very different art style which you may or may not enjoy, but the core game play is the same.

I will second DA and Okami.

You could also get Civ 5 when it comes out.

Yeah, I'm already planning on getting Civ5. I'm sure that'll waste LOTS of time for me.

I had thought about Dragon Age, I might just check it out.

Never heard of Okami, maybe I'll give it a look.

I'm just playing Starcraft 2 at the moment. In the near future I'll be playing FFXIV & Rockband 3.

No interest in SC (that whole sci-fi thing, meh).

We've been meaning to get something like Rockband, Guitar Hero, etc. Maybe we could finally do that.

You can't go wrong with Assassin's Creed 2. I don't know if the sale is still going on, but Gamestop had it plus a bunch of games from the last year or so on sale pretty cheap last week.

If you're going to go with any of those, I'd recommend Rock Band 2 to start off. It has the largest variety of songs, not to mention the most songs in general, and quite a lot of DLC (on Wii and 360) that you can pick and choose from if you find you've exhausted the initial song list. The only downside is it's a bit of an investment off the bat, to pick up at least three instruments so that you can sample everything it has to offer.

If you like Civ games, I'd recommend Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri.

It's a very well designed civ type game in a very neat Scifi-fantasy setting.

Another game that I highly recommend, not only because I know the developers, but because it is very good is Puzzle Quest

It's actually not too bad. Think Age of Empires, browser MMO-style.

Even though you don't like the whole sci-fi thing, it's a great game (SC2). I'm not very good at it and I still enjoy it. As a RTS, it's one of the few campaigns that has held my attention for the whole thing. Couple that with the custom maps and the achievements and you can have hours of fun. If you're competitive you could also try the ladder system. It puts you up against players in your same skill level and makes for some decent, fun matches.
