Also, despite your admin status your posts show as Decent. Is this intentional?
Honestly I have no idea how to change that rating. o.O

That's an interesting comment, while I initially thought "yeah exactly, like Twi'lek or Drow" (and then thought "man, I'm such a geek") it occurred to me that all class/races in MMOs that I have played and seen so far all share armour types and styles, leaving little room for a race personality to show through - yet some MMO races are still very well done. How would you think that the clothing affects this? Or does it then rely purely on architecture and racial stereotypes?
I think clothing plays a large role, I mean, if you wanted to create an MMO based on our ancient history, with Greeks, Romans, and Ancient Egyptians as playable "races", you wouldn't have them all wearing the same thing. When races all share the same clothing type, it just gets to be like...all the same races with different physical feature options. =/
One thing I liked in AION was you could obtain skins from the other race's armor. So if you were Asmodian you could dress in Elyos attire if you wanted, and vice versa.
Architecture and racial stereotypes can help I guess, but in the end I don't think they attribute much to the race when it comes to playing that race. Racial lore, architecture, and clothing all plays its part. When one part is lacking, it just doesn't seem complete to me.
Maybe I'm just picky due to being a writer...but... Glass Half Full/Half Empty just doesn't do it for me! I like being able to immerse myself in the story of my character's race as well as all the quirks that come along with a race's growth.
