How big of a problem do you think aimbots will be?

I doubt goldfarmers will be too big of an issue on PvP Servers, since you can just PK them...but on PvE servers, I wonder how big of an issue it will be.

Aimbots on goldfarmers... aimbots on players too maybe...

I'm sure they be as much of a problem in Tera than they are
in every other mmo out there.
As for aimbots most classes have a # of dodging abilities to dodge
spells when fired, I say spell cause i assume really that's the only thing
that will take that much skill to aim possibly arrows and such too.
but same case I'm sure they'll have set speeds on shots and some spells
it will all come down to timing on dodges but I don't think it would be a real threat.

The problem will be inversely proportional to how much skill and effort they put into the management and design/coding of the game. How much of it is server side, how much of it is client side with server trust? Constantly kept up to date effective cheat protection systems, not Gameguard, or active staff to check and punish players who are clearly cheating will minimize the problem. If they let it run rampant like how other games have done without proper protection or staff dedicated to clean up, then it could definitely become a serious problem.

The person who can show me a lawbook that states that e-trades in an mmo is unlegal shall recive a cookie. Yup, Im talking about RMT (Real Money Trade) here.

It might not have been the true intentions of the devs to create games that are highly addicted. Some studies show that mmo-games might be as addictive as conventional drugs. So there's no wonder kids want to get more gold, or better weapons/armors. If there's a shortcut they'll take it, kids these days spend quite a bunch of their money on games. Not just buying them, but they also purchase ingame items for IRL money.

20 years ago these kind of E-trades didn't exist, I do belive it have become so big that it's here to stay. It might even become more acceptable by the players that buying ingame items for IRL-money is no big thing.

So by that said, you do know there'll be gold seller in Tera.

in some games for some regions, RMT is already widely accepted
