South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (MCST) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) have selected Bluehole Studio to be part of this year’s Global Plan, a fund that promotes the expansion of media such as television series, games, and anime outside of Korea and into international markets. TERA was one of nine projects selected based on its potential for success in the near future.

We here at En Masse Entertainment are very proud to have TERA included in this exclusive program!

It's being reported that TERA would be granted 500 Million Won, which is roughly $415,000 USD

Ontop of that, 6 companies in Korea have invested a large sum of money towards the further development of Tera.

Quote:
this brings TERA's total development costs up to 32 billion Korean Won, or 27.7 million USD

Found Here you can read more on this investment deal.

Not only will this bring stability for at least a few years to Tera, but it may grant more content to be created. This also might resolve the server issues in Europe, hosted by Frogster Interactive. It just might be possible that they now have enough funding to make sure that all customer support, as well as capabilities to maintain a healthy MMO community.

Hopefully, we don't need another game that lacks content at release...

Though a story with 2,000,000 words already, unfinished, sounds promising.
