Former LotRO and AC player looking for active clan/serverFollow

#1 Jun 24 2010 at 1:57 PM Rating: Decent
My brother and me just started on the trial and are also looking for a clan to join....were both long term and experinced MMORPG older and mature (most of the time lol)
players. We both grew up in the star wars era and I can't believe its taken me this long to get here...

We both came from Lord of the Rings Online, but as they are turning into a cash shop game it was time to leave before they did. Before that i played ASherons Call and my brother played WoW.

I personally am not a politically correct person and like to joke around and have fun playing. Nothing like getting a good buzz a happening and play a good game :)

While most of the time is solo playing its nice to have a clan and friends to help out when you need it and the satisfaction of helping people out and building those special memories> I know from past games how 2 people working together can advance in levels and loot and create those special memories along the way 3, 4 and more is even better

I have Skype to communicate with for quests or just general chat

I have been researcing on and off for three days the basics of SWG and have started on a universor Gorath (i think its called). I CAN CHANGE OVER VERY EASILY TO ANOTHER WORLD IN A MOMENTS NOTICE.

My chracter on Gorath is called RakWar L3 so far still on the station and trying to get used to the clunky interface (if anyone wants to buzz me in game)...still not sure how to communicate to another player in game..if anyone can help me out here /reply if someone is messaging me I assum to talk to soeone ??? /tell name message???

Will check back here latter for message and leave replies if any

I don't know if we will get into the PvP of the game, but latter on when we are established I might

My suggestion would be to try out a few of the servers to see what type you like as each server has its own personality.
Starsider (East Coast) and Flurry (West Coast) are the two high population servers with all the others lagging behind.

As far as messaging goes, /tell [name] message works and you can reply to the last message sent by pressing CTRL R but all this is configurable through your options menu.

PvP is not for every one but it can be fun at times so don't write it off but if it isn't for you there are a ton of other things to keep you busy.
