Anyone else getting this game tomorrow?

Looks like a James Bond-type version of Mass Effect, and as it's made by Obsidian (Fallout, KOTOR, NWM, etc) it should be a thoroughly entertaining romp.

I have it on pre-order... sadly I'm busy pretty much all weekend so might not get chance to touch it, but I think a lot of people have missed this one because of Red Dead Redemption.

Interesting to see what they do with the real-time dialogue system... I'm thinking maybe like Mass Effect's trigger commands... will require LOTS of fast reading methinks.

Should be more fluid and more exciting though. No more thinking about what you should say, it'll all be on first instinct.

Mine hasn't arrived yet (launch day).

Hoping it turns up tomorrow. Quite surprised at the lack of response, a Mass Effect game with spying/assassination, would have thought everyone would have been excited about it?

Guess that proves my "hidden under the carpet" theory then. There sure as hell hasn't been any marketing about the thing. Let's just hope word of mouth gets things going, if it's any good of course.

I think its pretty good, despite some of the meh reviews, gotta take the good with the bad if you want to enjoy a game.

I've just got past the first training section and I can't see how/why it has bad reviews...

Granted, the graphics don't quite match up to Mass Effect but the conversation system's fantastic, the combat feels natural, and the characters already feel quite interesting (the guy who does the espionage training is a little bit freaky).

Plus you have to actually think about what you're going to say to people. You can't just be a constant bad *** all the time, it has major repercussions if you do. Mass Effect didn't quite have the same thing.

I'm really impressed. But then again, it's Obsidian. I expected it to be good.

Ya, granted ive had some annoying bugs, and it certainly aint perfect, but it has the best dialogue ive seen in a game, and i love how it affects the game, i got some kind of bonus perk for being suave in one of my first conversations.

And ya, parker is kinda weird, so's darcy, he put weird pictures in my hideout >.<

Really hope they start patching it soon, though since its published by Sega im not gonna get my hopes up.

What bugs? I haven't noticed anything...

And yes it really does affect it. I've just completed Saudi Arabia (which is effectively the training section) and you do genuinely feel like you're taking part in a Bond movie. It's brilliant.

I smashed some guy round the head with a bottle of Vodka, because I felt like being a bad ***.

Sadly, this did not go down too well...

Ah right, I'm on Xbox and it runs pretty flawlessly.

I think people expected a bit too much from this, with Obsidian it's always been more about the story than the graphics. Combat is good but nothing spectacular. But the story and character development is fantastic.

I still prefer Mass Effect (best game series of all time), but this is very, very good.
