I'm pretty sure that was the point.
It definitely plays like a Zelda clone. I can't find my way to the first Temple though. It said head west, and I keep running into places where I need a rope/gambling hook.

I'm definitely not liking this game... Kind of disappointed by it.
Chickens do go crazy and swarm you if you continually attack one though. Shields don't seem to reflect the projectiles from the squids in the water... that's annoying. I have an Iron Shield, it should be able to at least block these projectiles. But no, I get hit by them even when blocking.

The shield is working by original Zelda rules, which was to run from the projectiles not try to block them.

I think you needed the most powerful shield in the game to block the squids' attacks. By then, they do a quarter of a heart of damage anyway.
I rented this game and...well... is there anything more to it? I thought the editor would allow you to make custom stages instead of a custom toon? How much gameplay can I except from this game? Seems kinda cheap and thrown together so far IMO. Went through first temple and part of 2nd before getting bored. And yea the Shield is pretty lame. Camera sucks also can't hardly go down without having enemies you can't see throw stuff at you. If its just going to be like a cheap thrown together Zelda game prob just send it back. I got 4 days before next billing on Gamefly about to cancel it anyways.
