Turbine breaches customers privacyFollow

Just thought I would share this with you since we are both customers of the same company. I don't play lotr, however I "was" a loyal DDo player until now.

Turbine has recently introduced us ddo players to a new way to earn "turbine points" in there ddo game. They have done this by teaming up with super rewards and creating an "offer wall" on turbines ddo website.

It has been confirmed that upon just "viewing" the offer wall you are directed to by Turbine staff as there new promo for earning free turbine points, your turbine account log in name and email account associated with your log in are passed onto super rewards unencrypted over the internet.

People with IT backgrounds have tested this "offer wall" with proper security in place and after completion of a couple of surveys and rewarded with 500 turbine points in game the person found 277 seperate malware/spyware/viruse files on there computer. (which most of us knew would happen in the first place)

We need help spreading the word around to public gaming sites and help in taking our game back. Just thought you guys should know since we both pay(*paid* in my case) there salaries.
