In the midst of having some old friends over this weekend, one of them tripped on a wire and knocked my wii down, and now the eject button doesn't work Smiley: frown.

I hope Smash Bros. is stuck in there, for your sake. Could always contact nintendo for repairs?

Use a paper clip to trigger the manual release.

In fact, we were playing Smash Bros when it happened.

As it turns out though, I was able to get some homebrew set up which has an option to eject the disk via software, which does work (just the button itself seems to have broken thankfully). Guess I'll start playing around with other stuff I can do now that I have to use the homebrew anyway =/.

My Wii has grown a considerable coating of dust, and I fear it will never be turned on again at this point. Maybe when my girls grow up a bit more they can try it out, if the Wii 2 isn't out by then.

So, you broke your Wii? I'm not seeing a problem.

My Wii is allot like my indoor excercise bike. I was so sure I would use it... I do try and dust it once in a while.

I still bring out Wii Fit a few times a week, so it is an exercise bike! Smiley: tongue
