Out of curiousity...

Since the new versions comes with that Pokemeter (the @#%^meter level up thing)... it is possible to link a Pokemon to that and then import it into the other Pokemon version? Or is that only a one-DS-only thing?

Your Pokéwalker will sync up only to your cartridge. You can connect to other Pokéwalkers and you'll get a gift, but no actual Pokémon trading occurs.

Think it's a cartridge/save-file only thing. Needs to be reset for new pokémon to be added to it, in the case of it running out of batteries. I'm more curious for ways to cheat that thing. Any ideas? Just bringing it to work sounds boring, despite the loads of walking I do.

Paint Shaker.
Or in my case, going to work, passing it off to a friend who's going to run some errands, and then getting it back with 8000 steps on it. :D

Hmm, I am not sure if it would be good for it or not, but maybe attaching it to a small electric hand woodsander and just plug the sander in and let it do its thing for an hour or so while the sander is hanging off of a clothes hanger or something...

Maybe the sander would vibrate too much though...

Also... would you have to have the Pokemeter clipped onto your pants (or wherever) in order for the steps to be counted, or could you just keep it secretly hidden away in your pocket so to not draw attention to how you are a grown man walking around with a Pokeball as a piece of flare. Smiley: wink

Well, I guess I could always just play both versions of the game on my two DSs and then link them up....

On a side note... I would have never though that the word @#%^meter (pe.dometer) would be censored here, heh. But I can understand why.

Got SoulSilver today, i'll post a friendcode some other time.

That pokéwalker is actually a nice toy, better get to jogging soon. It kind of reminds me of a Tamagotchi. I think I saw my mother twitch when she saw it. I should ask her if she minds taking it with her when she's going out, that'll be amusing.

I'm nearly finished with the Johto part of the game. Still has me wrapped up in it.

Yeah, uhm, I don't like Claire. Her Kingdra hates me.

Edit: Oh, and my Rattata? It's like, in the top percentage of Rattata.

Beat the Elite Four yesterday through some tricky maneuvering.
A 40~ish Ho-Oh, Feraligatr, Meganium, Typhlosion, and Ampharos seemed to do the trick
Heading out to whack the Kanto leaders next.

Haven't gotten around to checking my Pokémon stats online.

Any one know how far in you have to play before you can trade pokemon? is it the 2nd town (one with the bell sprout tower)?

I want the starting pokemon all on one card :3

(and I really hate metapod. takes freaking forever to lvl it to 10)
