It's 2$ on Steam til the end of Today.

I'm really liking the flow of Tim Schaefer's level design and Storytelling.

What type of game style is it? I heard of the game before, but it didn't seem too interesting to buy it when it came out.

3d Platformer. Even if you're not too fond of them (I still think the pinnacle of platforming was Castlevania Symphony of the Night) it's worth checking out. Tim Schaefer's rediculously good Game Design combined with a good storylne, and quirky, but nice artwork just provides a real good gameplay experience.

Plus it's two bucks. Hell, I spend more than that on a single energy drink.

Man, this makes me happy. I almost pounced on it a couple days ago then thought I missed my chance when I decided not to. I've now picked it up and will play it next year when I finally have time. =)

I started playing psychonauts a few days ago, coincidentally (I borrowed the disc froma friend, so I didn't get screwed on the price change). The only thing that annoys me about it is the camera on boss fights - specifically that you lose control of it.

The platforming can be a bit tricky and unforgiving at times, but the game is golden. The humor is tasteful and superb. The level designs and settings are each very interesting, experimenting with a lot of different concepts.

Psychonauts is a highly underrated game, and I think anyone who enjoys platformers will enjoy it.

I can understand that; the embarrassment of realizing I have truly excellent taste would be just too much for ya.
