It's a tower defense game that uses plants as your towers along with a cartoon artsyle and sense of humor. Outside of the main 50 levels, there are a number of mini games. And it's only $10 on Steam.
I thought the same thing until they had it on sale back in the summer for $7.50. Downloaded the demo and after my demo time was up, proceeded to buy the game. It's one of the best gaming purchases I made all year.
I enjoy it. I got it on Steam on sale for 5 bucks a few weeks ago. I've been thinking about buying either Braid or Zombie Driver for 10$, but I keep hoping Steam cuts the price one day.
I liked it enough to spend a significant amount of time playing it
the ending song is by far one of the most toe-tappingly disturbing things i've ever encountered.
