I recently have made the switch from Xbox 360 to PS3. A lot of my friends made the switch due to malfunctioning xbox's, so I traded my elite and games it for the PS3. Luckily, I didn't have to pay a dime for the PS3.

So far, I really like the PS3 a lot more. I like how I don't have to pay for online play anymore, and I like that I didn't have to buy the wireless card for it, either. I also bought a couple of blu-ray dvds, and let me tell you, I love them on my 50" plasma.

All I need to do now is get used to the playstation controller, again.

I was thinking about getting a ps3... but I don't have a good TV to play with yet, so it seems like it's going to be a wasted investment until I have one.

I had bought a ps3 slim recently, and although the controller it came with didn't work wirelessly, it's been a lot of fun so far. Sad to see that not too many rpg's are on the console (good ones, anyway), but I still have hope! By the way, what's the deal with Star Ocean 4 being on the 360 exclusively? I know they are coming out with it now for the ps3, but a year later? /sigh

It didn't. I have no idea why either, because it works when I plug it in via usb cable. A lot of people are pointing fingers at the 3.1 firmware update, but I just went out and bought an extra controller and it works now. (I bought the ps3 sometime after the 3.1 update)

I heard that FFXIII will be 3-4 disks on the 360, so I will definitely be buying that one for the PS3.

Also need to get another controller so my wife and I can play LBP together, I need a game to get her into console gaming again Smiley: thumbsup

I can't think of a single good PS3 game not available on another system or PC, so 360 is better.

My roommate and I are looking for a game that we can play with each other online for the PS3. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What kind of Co-op experience are you looking for? Uncharted 2 has a pretty good Co-op experience although you don't play through the main campaign together. Little Big Planet has pretty good Co-op and Competitive sides to it. Plus there a lot of custom made levels out there that may have been made purely for co-op players.

I have Uncharted 2, but he doesn't. We both play MW2, but are looking for something else. Little Big Planet isn't our style. We bought borderland, but are un-impressed, thus far.

Resident evil 5? My friend and I played this together on a single ps3, but if I remember correctly you can play together on separate systems as well.

We played Resident Evil 5 on Xbox back in the day. It's a great game, though. We were looking at Demon Souls, but not too sure about the online play.

Demon's Souls isn't really a game you play together. It's possible, but limited. It's not one you buy with the idea you'll play with a friend.

What about Fat Princess or a fighter such as Tekken 6?

Fat princess looks hilarious. I've never even heard of it before.

I personally don't like fighter games.

We were looking at Sacred 2. Has anyone played this game, yet? We're both excited about DC universe online.

I have not really been impressed with Tekken 6, but I'm not very hardcore into fighting games. If you are, you may enjoy it.

I seem to remember someone recommending Sacred 2 to me here a while ago, but I don't remember who... and I never actually played it so I can't help you there. It did look good though =P.
