Paragon is easy...if you can get into character and let yourself focus on "being a good guy" in general rather than panicking over every little decision. It was especially fun because I was playing with my husband (I made him do the combat bits) and when he'd played it before he'd gone with the "be a **** and let people die" route, so he had fun seeing how things were a bit different the second time around.
For me, RPing the character made it easy as well. Hell, I even got full renegade bar just by playing my renegade as someone who "will 'get the job done at any cost'" kind of character. Sure, I ended up with about a third of the paragon bar filled too, but my character wasn't a renegade because he was a jerk. He was a renegade because he wasn't above sacrificing others for what he saw as "the greater good". My paragon character had almost no points in the renegade bar and all I used a guide for was to find the starters for all the side missions so I wouldn't miss any.

I really have to wonder what would make someone bored/desperate enough to put up with Ashley long enough to get her to put out. I couldn't stand her, and took great satisfaction in causing her death.
Her personality meshes rather well with a Renegade Shepard. It worked really well from an RP standpoint.
