You should try one out sometime. I didn't think I'd enjoy 'em either. They're remarkably challenging, and the controls are unique.
Admittedly, I've only played the first two, and I've heard some of the later ones were somewhat sub-par...

Yeah you could probably find it for 5 bucks now, and it was prolly the best game out of all of em.

It's actually a bit difficult to find. Ignoring eBay (where you can get almost anything for $5), I've rarely seen it for less than $10. It's kind of a cult-classic game.
Does anyone know what systems the new one's gonna be on?

I seem to remember hearing about a Wii version of Katamari somewhere. Not that I have a Wii, or a PS3 for that matter, but I'm far more likely to convince my significant other to get a Wii than a PS3 (although, with the recent price drop...).
