I think moving was the wrong word to use.
They would have had to build every frame, take it part, rebuild it and so on.

But it is mad cool to watch over and over.

No, they wouldn't. There's a lot of ways to cut the time down in stop-motion. You don't always have to take it apart and rebuild it.

No, they wouldn't. There's a lot of ways to cut the time down in stop-motion. You don't always have to take it apart and rebuild it.


Yep, when things are going up they can just add pieces and when they are going down just take them off. It's the parts when colors move across faces of objects where they'd have to rebuild a bunch of it just to move all of the black bricks to the right one square. A good example is the pyramid, where the black floats from side to side.

pretty sweet, i like the part with blowing into the cartridge. but some of the animations looked suspiciously computer generated, especially the nintendo characters at the end.
