NBA Jam, on the Sega Genesis, is the best video game ever.

I used to play it on the SNES all the time.

"HE'S ON FIRE!"

I loved breaking the backboard and burning the hoop.

NBA JAM: Tournament Edition on the SNES was what my friends and I always played... that and Killer Instinct.

Dunking while on fire, from the opposite end of the court... as Will Smith or Bill Clinton. :D

4 player arcade only please. Jam just wasn't the same on console, even once they could port it accurately.

That was old Midway, when they made games that kicked ***, sad to see them fallen so low.

Yeah, I dislike the generic realistic sports video games (rather play irl for the WOW REAL PHYSICS! factor). Blades of Steel is the best hockey game as far as realistic goes though imo, and Hit the Ice was some good fun. For baseball games, I loved Super Baseball 2020 and Super Baseball Simulator 1.000. Those were the days.
