This is the sequal to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. It takes place about 300 years after KotOR, and about 3500 years before A New Hope. It's a new MMO.

You need a link, and that would place the MMO about 500 years after the Exar Kun war which means you probably won't see that many Mandos in game (outside of quest NPCs).
Hopefully the game will be better then SWG.

O man if you saw the E3 trailer for this you would have wet your pants. It looks amazing, far better than swg. I think they said the game is the largest voice over project in the history of video games because each npc has a unique voice.

That being said, I hope they don't ***** this attempt up... there really needs to be a good Star Wars MMO.
The trailer don't really tell anything about the game. Was fun to watch but that's about it. I just can't get excited about it. I remember watching SWG for over a year and being extremely excited about that game only to find it was terrible from the start!

if you haven't played the prequal, or have no idea what it was about, then you'd get that impression. However, i can tell you that the game is about the sith's reimergence after their defeat 300 years prior to this game, which is several thousand years before the movies. That's about all they've revealed at this point, but you can expect to travel from planet to planet and you can choose to either help the sith or the jedi.
It has potential, though I'm gonna wait until I see more info to get excited.
I'm pretty sure this will be my next MMO.

TBH, I never played SWG (one of the few MMO's I never tried). However, this seems like quite a large waste of money. If the game is mediocre, all the funds spent on voice talent will be to blame imo. Make the game right, then focus on the bells and whistles. We'll see though, could be interesting.
