DAMN YOU PATAPON 2!Follow

I've been stuck at the Ground Zero mission, the fight with the Hero Dekapon, respawning demons, and that weird mushroom thing. I have the Dekapon's attack pattern down, three attacks, three standing there like an idiot phases. I've come close to beating it, I think. I've reached three "phases" in the battle, where the mushroom moves back, or the Dekapon and the Star start talking, or whatever, but I just can't survive long enough.

Grinding is actually kinda fun though. I've really started getting into those egg missions, finally found the upgraded speed mask which I've been dying to find, but think I'm reaching a point in some of the battles where the COM players are just too stupid to help me win in time. Can you play multiplayer online, or is it just PSPs in the vicinity of each other? I'd like to get some people together if possible to run egg missions, but I doubt it will happen if you can't play online.

That one's easy, Spoileryou get to the point where he's free, then just sit there with a glazed look on your face till you win.

Have you been using the birdpons at all? I have a full platoon of them, and they're upgraded a bit, but they just seem like a smaller, flying platoon of spearpons. (I forget the actual names right now)

I've been continuing to upgrade and level them, but they never seem to find a place in my army. I can't wait to unlock a Mahapon, and see what these magic using patapons are all about. If only I could beat that damn mushroom.

I absolutly adore robopons, especially a hero robopon. Melee patapons with a superpowered ranged attack when charged? Yes please!

I don't remember when/where I got the birdpons. But I did figure out that the magic numbers for the game are 3, 5 and 10. Basically, if you haven't farmed bosses, or levels for items and extras yet, you usually get the good stuff at level 3. I know a lot of the minigame hats are like that, You get them off a level 3 boss. The minigames really help when grinding, it's possible to just grind bosses and levels, but the minigames break up the monotony enough to keep the game interesting.

I really like this game. A lot of people are complaining that it's just Patapon 1.5, and they really didn't change much, but that's what I like about this one, they made enough changes to make a better game, but kept to what made the first game awesome. I pray there's a third one in the works.

FINALLY! GAWD!

I beat that ******* level just before I had to leave for work. I actually cheered, and freaked out my dog. God, what a hellish level, it's a total endurance match. Spent about five minutes doing the same pattern of six phases, block, block, run, march, charge, attack.
