FireRed and LeafGreen were just DS ports of the original 2 JP versions (Red/Green), Blue was created for the U.S. market because green was an evil JP color and needed to be censored to protect our children's sensitive eyes/mind. >.>
There haven't been any ports of Gold/Silver till now including GBA. I don't know if the Wii store has it or not.
