I'am downloading the trial edition right now and I wanted to ask a few questions before I start. First off I've heard that the population has declined quite a bit, so could someone please tell me the higher population servers. Second, I see proffesions like Dancer, Musician and Merchant. Are these proffesions actually just doing these for other players or are they combat related to? How much will a race impact a proffesion, is it a significant diffrence like in FFXI, or just mostly Aesthetic like WoW?

However while they are heavy populated servers they are also heavy lag servers which you may want to take into account.

Personally I would be inclined to make a few characters on various servers to see which one you prefer.

2) I think you are looking at an old professions list as Dancer and Musician have been merged into one class called Entertainer but the class does have some combat ability although it is primarily there for the benefit of other players.

3) Race plays little to no part in in your profession as they are pretty much all the same like WoW however Wookie and Ithlorien do need special armour so you may want to stay away from those first off.
