Well i started playing this game when it first came out and had lots of fun until all my friends quit and i pretty much had done everything there was to do.

One thing that made me leave was my favorite job was Dancer and no one was going into cantinas anymore in the cities, and i prefer cities over player made ones.
To me, the player made cities kind of killed the population of the game.

Do people play in the cities like mos eisley and stuff that I as a dancer can socialize and have fun? I dont mind a small player base, but i dont want a "canhardlyfindanyonetotalkto" player base.

I dont want to be lonely on the game :(

Well every server has different hotspots for socialising but as far as I can tell NPC cities are where the majority of people go to get buffed so as long as you pick the right cities for your server you shouldnt be lonely.

well, i can certainly understand what your saying, used to be that i never left the cantina in coronet, now im not even sure people visit the planet, never mind the cantina. as far as i know, though different servers may vary, the mos eisley cantina is where you will find the most people, though for this you really need to be on one of the 'high' population servers in any case. good luck with that, too many players seem to overlook the fact that some of the professions are 'social' in nature, personally i think turning entertainer into a 'semi' combat profession was a bit of a mistake, but... not exactly the first thing they've made a mess of post nge... good luck :D

Dancer/Master Tailor.... used to be an awesome combination. wtg SOE :(

the combat options for ent comes from expertise not the prof wheel, so that tree does not effect ents entertaining/buffing abilities unless you spend expertise points in it- its simply for ents who want to do some combat you can still be a pure ent tho.

yes mos eisley cantina is usually crowded on bria or i'm sure on a couple other big servers- if you want to transfer servers to one of the big ones you better do it before march 31/09 or it wont be free after that.

ppl are depended on ent buffs now- there is no more mind wounds but ents now give combat mods and XP buffs that are more complex than healing mind wounds ever was. and almost EVERYONE rolls with ent buffs for combat. plus you can have a whole holographic troupe in your band or whatever

the player cities are more of a novelty than anything. no one flocks to them except pockets or RPers or the occasional shopper. player cities just don't server much of a purpose beyound RP, yet. the game mechanics causes players to cluster around cities like mos eisley, coronets a thing of the past. theed is sometimes populated.

yesterday there was only 1 ATK ent in mos eisley on Bria and there were like 15-20 ppl waiting in line to get buffed, so ents are definately in demand
