Well here's an outsider's perspective to this thread. Both sides are doing a disservice to themselves.

The OP's side is showing that they are pretty tight.(and not in the good way) Your inability to laugh and brush off silly comments over the internet gives the impression that it would definitely be tedious and tense to be in that kin.

The Alla responses are, well, pretty typical Alla responses and exemplify the negative reputation Alla users gained in the FFXI community.(does it transcend XI? probably) Personally, having been register to Alla for some time now, I found the hazing comment chuckle-worthy. However it was the trolling that did your side in. The OP's side was perfectly calm in asking the thread be left alone and the responses just screamed of insecurities. This only makes the typical Alla-clique all the more obvious. Seeing that Lotro is a pretty mature MMO community as far as MMO communities go, this does not help encourage people to join TINFS, real adults find cliques to be played out where as insecure people gravitate towards them. An aside, I originally joined Meneldor with intentions to join TINFS but got ganked by a pretty nice guild before making my way over to an officer for an invite. This thread doesn't make me regret that. Surely TINFS isn't as bad as it may sound in my paragraph, but from a perspective unknown of all that is 'Alla', it sure would.

Both sides speak of maturity yet each side has at least one member showing a serious lack there of. Mentioning the age of your opposition only makes you appear idiotic, especially when you do it in a condescending way which screams you're guilty of the accusation you're throwing.

Anywho, there's some food for thought ... or corn for the toilet, either way you can thank the over extended down times for this post as I would otherwise not have commented or even cared to read the thread. Boredom ftl?

Well here's an outsider's perspective to this thread

One thing you did not point out is the OP's side is the OP + his/her sockpuppets, that have a grand total of a popcorn fart's worth of posts collectively. The Alla side is mostly random regulars who probably have more posts in one thread somewhere here.

Not saying # posts is the end-all but you get the drift.

I don't know if [someone + their sockpuppets] should be given ANY weight for a legitimate 'side' of anything, especially a thread that has degraded to a flame-fest.

Mind you I don't think the Alla regulars were taking any sides. Most were just pointing out the obvious, with some getting a bit more raucous in keeping with their own particular....idiom...
