I was thinking of trying an MMORPG againFollow

I stopped playing FFXI in July of last year, but Phoenix (server) is my haunt of choice. I'm actually thinking I'll probably be starting back up again soon.

FFXI was my first MMO. I've tried several others, but its the only one that always kept my attention.

Well for me I like Atlantica online because of its features:
Free league
Crafting
Fishing
Auto move
Auto Battle
Town system
Birthday system
Mercenary system

yeah Atlantica Online for me...

How about Flyff? is it good?

Ragnarok Online or that Atlantica thing the guy was spamming about; they're F2P so no cash lost for casual players.

Ragnarok is great if you like to get killed by cutesie bouncing balls and clowns :/

I've heard great things about Warhammer. Lots of WoW folks love it.

what about trying Dungeons and Dragons online or something?

I may try EQ2 later this year. Was just over my brother's house yesterday, he plays. I want a game that you can do solo quests, but I also want to group for dungeons. EQ2 has some serious low population server problems. And no one wants to group for dungeons. It is kinda silly playing a multiplayer game alone I suppose.

D&D online is supposed to raise the level cap to 20 soon. So that might be interesting to check out.

Starcraft?

Starcraft is not an RPG, it's an RTS. And no, the R does not stand for roleplaying. Though I guess you could roleplay using the chat.

Also, Anna, you should totally play Hello Kitty Online. It's actually a very mature, sophisticated game with some very clever mechanics.

I just got into the beta waiting list for Champions Online. Been playing Runes of Magic for all of a week, but it's really laggy at all times of day. It feels just like WoW, with a different skin, and a bunch of core add ons already installed in the UI. So, it's nice in that respect, I was really just looking for a free WoW replacement. But it's most crippling problem is the lag, an easy fix.

Oh, and the spambots. If you play this game, immediately get out of the zone chat, or you will be flooded with shout spam. The bots haven't really started talking to people directly yet, so they're easy to avoid, but annoying still.

StarSonata, its a novel experience. Play it for a few months and you will be on first name terms with the entire playerbase and most of the admins. You will also have witnessed epic pvp wars between the strongest players in the game with months of effort on the line in every fight.
I played Starsonata for a long time, and still do occasionaly, but I reccomend at least giving it a look. Cant hurt to play the free trial.

Either that or come to WoW

If you're thinking what MMORPG games to play again, then why don't you try WoW games again. It seems that there are lots of exciting challenges this following days that come.

But I can't force you to choose WoW, because still it's your decision to choose whatever MMORPG that interest you.
