I have both a DS and a PSP, and a 9~ish hour travel time next weekend from MA to WA.

Any suggestions?

Disgaea for either DS or PSP; upload Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Omega Boost (PS1 games) to your PSP, and Contra 4 or Metal Slug 7 for DS.

A good single player RPG of any kind will kill that time.

Dragon Quest IV and FFIV are the ones I'd personally choose, but you can't go wrong with a good RPG.

Homebrew FTW. Who needs to decide when you can have thousands of games at your fingertips. Playing GTA2 on PSP is always a blast.

I'm going to see what I can find at my local Gamestop for PSP stuff. I might pick up God of War and Lumines for it. I could also play Tactics, but I get bored with it after playing for a while.

For DS, I've already got FFIV, just haven't beaten it yet.

I've got an emulator card for my DS, and my PSP's firmware is set to a custom firmware, but the SNES emulators on both systems kinda blow. (PSP is too slow, and DS doesn't seem to render everything right.)

Get Peggle for the DS. You won't even notice where the hours went.
