Rape....the video game?Follow

So, I guess over in japanland, they have made a game where you are a stalker who rapes a women and her two daughters on a train, and thats only the beginning.

While the game is only permitted to be sold within japan (and even then, seriously,) are games going a bit out of hand? Does our society lack so much moral fiber that we have made video games about raping people?

theres lots of these kinds of games in japanese, i can think of one where your the guardian of some 12 year old girl, and you start having sex with her while shes sleeping and crap like that, and if your to rough you'll wake her up.

that just sounds like its expanding on the already weird genre.

Of course not. I knew there are games out there involving sex, but I don't know a game that requires us to nor it being the main focus except maybe the infamous Atari ones. Definitely not in as much simulation as the game that the OP is going on about.

The article even says "The game's producer, Illusion is a company from Japan famous for making similar 3D Hentai games." This isn't the company's first game.

The only item remotely novel about this article is that Amazon is selling the game.

Why is it so terrible when a video game does something like this? Look at the movies that have been out for decades that involve terrible amounts of gore, violence, sex, etc. Yet as soon as a game, which is generally rated for ADULTS, does it then its like OMG the world is coming to a end.

Don't know why rapes so shocking, im sure theres plenty of hentai games where you have sex with minors, including the one i mentioned.

Japanese seem to like there rape ****, just look at hentai movies, theres plenty of ones involving rape and sex slaves and crap

I was mistaken it for a console game, of course that sh*t is numerous from that source. I'm not shocked nor surprised that there are any rape games, I already agreed there being some.

To be honest, I don't think that was the intention, the "controversy" market. It's just another one of several hundred erotic games.

I agree. Just another video game in a long list of porno games. I'd be surprised if it's the first one with rape.


Personally, I miss Strip Bowling. That game got me through the awkward teen years in geeky style.

Maybe they are afraid that people will really begin raping. It's like when I played Cake Mania and I opened a little shop and I couldn't stop baking cakes and frosting them and then putting decorations on them as fast as I could

Left 4 Dead will only encourage people to kill people who have been doing up doing meth for four days without sleep.
Unless an actual zombie breakout occurs, then they'll be the ones who are ready.
The real problem is the people who spend all their time playing RTSs. I see them at the mall standing on the second floor looking down on all the passers by on the first floor, trying to draw rings around them to group them together and give them orders. It's really quite sad.
