dead cities?Follow

I'm on server .. sunrunner? or something.

there are so many places I go that are dead, no real players just a driod or two, maybe a vendor. How come these places are dead? Is it the server that isn't popular or something?

I'm an entertainer and was just on Tatooine, I don't know how many missions I did that were in dead cities and cantinas. I'm now on Naboo, in Theed... dead too.

there are only a few servers with any real population unfortunately. the list of actives as far as i can tell is;

Bloodfin,
Bria
Ahazi
Chimaera

theres probably a few more but im not sure what they are, if you go to the character creation screen, i think you can probably get a better idea of which are more active during your 'prime time'

Should I even bother continuing on this server?

I've only put a couple days in, on lvl 9 right now.. but man starting over. lol

I'd rather be on a server with people though I suppose, being alone kinda sucks lol

I've seen a handful of other entertainers while I've been out and about, on lvl 90 and stuff.

I'd hate to leave that character, but oh well. I started a new one on Bloodfin.

Thanks for the help.

Didn't I run into you in Zion (Sunrunner) yesterday?

Sunrunner is an odd server in that people rarely congregate in cities player or npc for the most part I assume they are doing the same thing I do and are out doing something in game.

That being said one of the biggest issues we have had in recent months has been the entertainers have seemingly formed a collective and moved out of Mos Eisley more or less going on tour which means that no one can find them easily which has really crippled the server as far as getting buffs goes.

You dont have to leave your character MrsAriesAwa. If you take advantage of the free character transfer from SOE you can move your peep to another more active server. I THINK the Sunrunner server is on the list for free peep transfers. (this damn memory of mine...its really good, but short) But check it out and see if SOE will move you. I play on Infinity and Wanderhome....two very quiet servers too and am having to make the same decisions you are. Good luck!

Sunrunner is a "transfer to" server not from so short of paying SOE $50 the character is going no where.

You very well could have ran into me. Haven't been paying attention to names though.

Well I'm pretty settled into Bloodfin now. A lot of activity, especially in Mos Eisley. I'm still getting a couple dead places, there was one where the waypoint was there, but the city was gone. Weird. But other than that it's been tolerable and active.

I hear more people are starting to come back (slowly) since they.. changed things? No idea, just what I've heard. I take it people got bored and left? Shame, this is a very neat little game.
