I have been playing the trial for some time and i love the game (Except for minor things like the survival titles etc) So i ordered it and the expansion, but there's one thing i would like to know, witch server has the most people doing Roleplay?

Landroval has been noted as being big with role-playing players. It is not a requirement though, so don't expect everyone to be role-playing there.

Since there is no limitation on how many servers you can start characters on, you might start a character on several servers and see where the "best" role playing is. You could approach kins on each server and discuss the subject with them to see where your best interest lies.

Thank you both for the advice, i will try out "Landroval".

A big hub of RP on Landroval seems to be the Prancing Pony Inn located in the town of Bree. I'd suggest visiting that area on a few different servers and seeing if anything piques your interest.

Okay, another question, i'm downloading game updates and right now it's on "Update game data: 415%" And it's shows i downloaded over 6000/2700 files, is something wrong?

The percentage calculator has been screwy since Moria released. You're actually at 6000/27000ish, so no problems, but you might want to go shopping/take a nap/watch a movie/whatever, cause the download takes awhile:)

About the roleplaying part i figrued it dosen't matter since when i bought the game i had to play EU... They have some RP system, but i was looking forward to landroval and now i'm on multi-languaged EU servers, seen the forum on EU about this RP server? It's nothing but players discussing with each other and fighting with developers.

At the risk of sounding like a jerk... have you thought about ordering the American version, via some online site? The shipping would possibly be a pain, but aside from that, you'd have access to all of the American servers instead.

I can't speak specifically for LOTRO but when I lived in Germany I played other MMO's with stateside based servers and the lag wasn't bad at all. It was noticable but nowhere near crippling like I thought it would be and I played for some top tier raiding guilds back then.

You'll certainly have a higher degree of latency but that isn't the same thing. The location of the server won't affect your degree of lag nearly as much as your system itself does.

Latency is the amount of time it takes for information to pass from your system to the server or from the server to you and since we're talking about data moving at the speed of light, you shouldn't see much difference based on a measly few thousand miles.

Lag on the other hand is the amount of time it takes your system to process the information it has just received and its severity will be based on your:
CPU speed
video card & vid RAM
system ram

As long as your system exceeds the recommended system specs AND as long as you're not trying to run the game at TOO high a resolution for your system, you won't see much lag.
