yes i kn ow this has been made before, but i want current answeres im a PC noob, and i love this game but why is this game so laggy? i just got to tattoine or however it is spelled, and even out in the middle of nowhere next to the tusken raiders it takes 3 seconds to do a 360 degree turn.here are my laptop specs,i just need to know if they are good enough or i need to upgrade,and if they are good enough why am i lagging so bad.

i typed in dxdiag to get this info btw, i know it cant be my internet because i play FFXI online with 360 n it never lags this bad.Please help me!!!!!!

also i forgot to mention i have also turned every detail i could find wether it be sound graphics terrain i turned it all off to see if i could get smoother gameplay n it still didnt work,Im afraid im gonna have to go back to my console MMO's :( PC gaming just getting to expensive.Sucks i love this game too lol.

Hey Deathbykarma dont give up on SWG yet. SOE has been having some server issues, and other unrelated game issues. That may be the reason for the troubles you are having. And for some reason i know others who use laptops to play SWG, and by all accounts the laptop specs seem to be good enough, but they get worse lag on their laptop than their desktop. If you can, try and play it on a desktop using your internet connection and see if the problem persists. Or borrow a friend's PC and try the same thing. That will at least tell you if it is the computer or net connection. Hope it helps, and hope you stay with SWG!!
