hello so i downloaded the 10day trial thing and started playing the game and was wondering why the game will not let me set to play with dx10? i've a dx10 card and vista but it won't let me set it? anyway some ppl said that it could be if you download the standard version and not the high res version, but on the game i got it lets me set everything to ultra high setting, which i can play on so i dunno. another question is on the interface is there a way to move all your interface things around? like the gambit thing for instance. thanks XD
ctrl + \ locks and unlocks the UI so you can move things around where you want them.
Its entirely possible that the version of the game you get with the free trial doesn't include the dx10 high rez graphics, but I'm not sure about that. There is a board on the official forums dedicated to the free trial, you may have more luck asking your question about the dx10 graphics there. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful than that.

This is offtopic but i have also downloaded the trial and although ive successfully created a new subscription for LOTRO in COG, i cannot login in the game, recieving an error stating that my username and/or password is incorrect.
Could you help me figure out what im doing wrong plz?

Is COG the payment system for non-US players? (memory! - I am non-US myself!)
If you are from outside the US, you will need to contact Codemasters for support, not Turbine.

Did you do everything listed here? I honestly can't say, because I'm registered through Turbine as opposed to COG/Codemasters.

Heh stupid me, i downloaded the US version and tried to log with my COG account...
