Should Be Back MondayFollow

#1 Jan 24 2009 at 5:17 PM Rating: Decent
My new computer is coming in Monday. The old one is... well, not -quite- dead. I might run it as a second box or a homework computer, but heatsink fan has been giving me major issues and more than enough headaches. Anyways, with the specs on it, I should hopefully be able to fully enjoy LOTRO with no lag, so I'll see you guys in game then.

No problem, Mora, I probably won't level him again anyways. Going to work on grinding my blackarrow to rank 7 for Vital Target, and I may roll another hunter and/or a lore-master.

Because I want a hobbit hunter, and because I can't bring myself to grind out Bow & Blade on Mendra. Hitting a mob 2500 times with melee attacks at level 51+ is a chore to say the least. I'd rather do it while leveling. So, new deeds and such.

Well, having issues with my new computer. Driver issues for the monitor. Basically, Visa doesn't recognize it as anything but a "Generic Plug and Play Monitor", so the resolution is complete crap (and hurts my eyes, to boot). The kicker is that the monitor's manufacturer is out of business, neither Vista nor NVidia (apparently, since the drivers don't help a damn thing) have any support for it, and the one web site that I've found that has a download of said driver won't send me a bloody confirmation email so that I can join the site and download it.

I know it's rather obvious, but you've tried adjusting your resolution?

It's something I always have to spend minutes messing with every time I reformat or get a new piece of hardware, or sometimes with individual programs.

Text is still a bit blurry, and hurts my eyes if I look at it too long, but yeah. Running at max resolution, it's okay.
