Alliance attacking weapons depotFollow

I'm following the Legacy Quest on Naboo and a few times now, a message flashes on the screen telling me that the Alliance is attacking some weapons depot, then it will update saying that the Empire or Alliance is succeeding.

What does this mean? And how does it affect me? How can I get involved?
Or are these simply random system messages?

I've also heard someone /yelling that they wish to start an "instance" What does that mean?

Yeah Master and ClonedJedi that's exactly what it is. There are PVP areas on several planets (of which Naboo is one) and these little "Weapons Depots" are places with a few structures and a handful of Rebel or Imp soldiers. There is also a small bunker there with soldiers and a commander inside. If a couple of players enter one of these and manage to take it over by killing all of the opposing gaurds, as well as any other PVP players that might have shown up, they can get some good rewards from the commander on the bottom floor of the bunker. As well as add to their GCW points. Some of them can be taken pretty easily by a couple of level 80-90 players, assuming no other PVP players show up. But some of them can at time have some elite level 90-91 soldiers and i myself have gotten a serious *** whooping from some of these nasty Reb soldiers on more than one ocassion on Naboo. If you are level 75 or higher, it may do you some good to try and get to the depot before it is taken over. But when you get that message you know there are other PVP players there so be prepared to fight. And hope its still going on by the time you get there. Take care!
