This past weekend flew by! Friday and Saturday I worked on my Rune-keeper and got him to 28, I'm still enjoying the class a lot.

Saturday night I finished Volume 2, book 4, chapter 7 on my Lore-master and got him to book 5. I don't want to spoil it for others, but 4.7 is quite a fight.

Sunday I messed around with quests, virtue grinding, and the Yule festival. I don't think I'll make it to 60 without killing myself.

How was everyone else's weekend?

With the holiday events and visitors I got little playtime.

I did manage to get my Warden to 40 and did a couple short quests on the Minstrel.

After getting one-shotted in the Moors by a hunter for 4.5k damage, I played around a bunch with my spiders traits. Pre-MoM I had traited for damage and physical and tactical resistances. I changed over to morale. Four of my five trait slots are now upping her morale. I'm pretty happy with the change and think I can stay alive for bit again.

Observation: Since I changed out traits I can easily see the decrease in damage I'm doing - though it's a good trade off. I don't notice any difference at all not having the resistant traits up. Likewise, there are buffs you can buy for your creep now from a troll in TA (it costs destiny points). He has two buffs - one is a damage increase and one is resistance. The damage increase is noticeable, the resistance buff not noticeable. I don't think creeps resistance traits/buffs/potions really do anything (placebo buffs Smiley: confused??).

Had a quiet, but, really nice holiday. Smiley: smile

Kit now has the 58 guild recipe robe. I learned that pink zone is pink and not happy pink...more like I would imagine intestinal pink to be.

Other than that I farmed up a ton of rocks, wood and hides.

With some help "speed questing" from Nobby & Mora I made it to lvl 59.
(Note to self: A trio composed of two hunters and an LM really ROCKS the house!)

The upper end of questing in Moria is no less intense than the early areas. I'm really happy that they spread the quality evenly throughout the expansion. Most of Lothlorien is still hidden from me so I really need to focus on the epic book work now but at lvl 59 that shouldn't be much of an issue!

On a general note, this game has kept me away from EQ2 since the launch of Moria. The latest expansion for EQ2 launched the same day as Moria and I have had the content since release but I haven't yet felt the need or desire to even install the new disc!

Currently in the Moors, a duo of a hunter and LM means quick and brutal death and is avoided by all but the most stalwart...or stupid. The creep is lucky if they can even get one of the pair targeted, let alone try and fight back or defend themselves.

Not been able to play much this last few days, huddled in a cottage in the windy-wilds of Scotland with an iffy 3G connection. Prior to that. . .

Big-ups to Kitca and Yanari for buzzing through the Lothlorien quests, and Bryndle and Mora for some good slaughter-fun in Waterworks and the Morroval zone NE of 21st Hall.

2 Huntards makes for pretty devastating impact on teh nasties. Adding a LM for Crowd Control and nukage makes me almost feel sorry for those nassty orcses (we hates 'em we does).

I'm now over half-way into level 59, and once back in England with full bandwidth, aim to find a group (time-zone permitting - a TiNFS group) to grind through 2.4.7 and blast further into the epic chain.
