Ok I need help. Once in a while my keyboard goes into french mode mid game. Its not my computer cause I exit game and its still in US English. So I have to log out and log back in to get english.
Anyone know the command to switch back during the game? its really, really frustrating.

I get the same thing now and then. Not sure what causes it or how to change it without restarting the game.
Isn't the keyboard set up through the game options menu?

What I did was completely disable the french setting in my computer's control panel. That seemed to work. I haven't gotten it since I wrote this post.

While I understand that you don't think it's your PC....if disabling the french options corrected the issue. Then it can only be your computer...the game would need admin rights to do that on your PC. Let me guess....you are using Vista. When setting change on your PC it will always be caused locally. It may be caused by software you have installed, but it always be caused locally.....unless someone has remote access to your PC.
