Hello all

I played this game way back in October –December 2005 but couldn’t continue to play.

I have come back but I am having a problem.

I am almost positive that I used the same game ID I had back then, but after I re-activated the account I had no characters.

My previous characters where Godhammer & Boomhowler.

The posts I made here with newbie questions are still around (godhammer on 2005.11.07 & boomhowler on 2005.12.06), so I know I remembered the names correctly, and the avatars in the posts are the ones I remember making.

I put in a petition through this site, and it said that it might take awhile for an answer, but I never received a “petition submitted and received e-mail”, like with other sites where I have contacted support.

Should I have received an e-mail verification? And if anyone else has recently put in a non-character petition, how long will I have to wait, on average?

By non-character I mean I tried to check my petitions submitted through my account, but it said I have no characters.

I am not impatient, but would like to know if I can get this rectified before the Thanksgiving holiday, since a week off would be nice to reacquaint myself with the game.

I probably had them under a different ID, but I have tried many combinations that I may have used (I am not very original so it is easy) but no luck.

I am sure I had over 5,000,000 skill points and a good amount of mining gear, ships & ISK, IIRC.

Starting over wouldn’t be bad, but why if I don’t have to.

I checked all the pages of the F.A.Q. but couldn’t find, or missed, information on about how long they keep an inactive character, but I thought it was forever.

i have only had 2 e-mail addresses i have ever used, but they want an account (not character) name with it, and i just can't remember any other account name other than the one i am using.

it is good to know that they might be looking into it, even without verification.

i went ahead and made a new character, but i am going to wait a few more days (it's been 3 so far) just in case i can get my old ones back.
