My lotro weekends are starting to sound all the same. Playtime this weekend was hunting and warring with my spider. Joined in on a tribe raid Friday night that was a riot. Had a couple disappointing solo battles and was getting a bit discouraged until I kicked some guardian butt last night. It's funny I seem to go through streaks of pretty one-sided losses leaving me feeling outpowered, outskilled, etc. Then all of a sudden, everything works, counters land, my resists resist, and once again my Weaver is a real force to be reakoned with, able to conquer anything. Maybe that's what I'm finding so interesting about PvP.

Anyway, my goal is to make r7 with my spidey before MoM goes live - 9k inf to go. I should make it.

I've been seriously thinking about raising up my Hunter as I'd like to try pvp from the freep side, but don't want to take my Minstrel anywhere near the Moors. However, with two new classes soon to be available, I guess I'll wait.

Any of you beta folks have an opinion about the PvP abilities of Runekeeper or Warden?

Tommorrow is a holiday and day off for me..for you? I have to clean leaves out the gutters. It was my job for this weekend but it pretty much rained continually.

How was your weekend?

Finally got a weekend with lots of playtime. Took my champ from 38 to 42 over the weekend, and through quests got him some very nice equipment upgrades.

Friday: Knocked out quests in the Trollshaws and Evendim solo in the afternoon, then teamed up with a Greyfoot 2-box to do the amazingly annoying elite spider quest chain up in the northern Trollshaws Friday night. Also worked on some Book 4 with Grey.

Saturday: Started questing in Aughaire, duoing with a hunter from The House of Wook.

Sunday: Teamed up with Kit and Yan to smack trolls around in the Lonelands. They also helped me run through 2.8 since it was still sitting in my quest log. After that, I ran back to Aughaire and quested some more there.

Looks like I'll be heading to Forochel soon. I might just get the champ to 50 by the 18th after all, thanks to the bonus experience. Doubt it though, just don't think I'll have the playtime to do it.

I got my Guardian to 50 and tooled up with his 'epic' hammer. Not sure how 'epic' it really is, but it was good at chewing thru Sarnur at a fair clip (Ancient dwarf dmg).

I'm finishing up a couple of quests and then with the exception of Rep,class or story quest, I'm going to delete every quest in my book and start fressh when MoM goes live.

I've downloaded the pre-patch thingummy and I'm already to go!

I'm off up North on the first surfing-camping-hanging-about-in-the-wilds of the summer so I wont be on this week end, but I'll looking forward to checking out all the new content when I get back caked in salt and sand, sun-burned and prolly a little hung-over and smelling of fish.

My champ will be first to experience the new stuff as he's kitted out the best, and he's a dorf and is just gagging to get to the fabled Mines.

He can't wait, and neither can I!
