And level Lucas to 55~ and get PSI Shield Omega. Makes life insanely easier. And have Boney sniff it every time it changes it's pose to find its weakness.

I beat the barrier trio at around level 43ish. I had the princess and the thief using defense down till it stopped working, then the trio went into this kind of AI loop where it would use defense up, and I would then re-defense down it, then it would try to bring it up again. Then after bashing the crap out of it for a while, it changed poses once, and I was able to go all out, and keep my party healed till the end of the fight.

Beat it today, and I killed the barrier trio with nix's strat.

What a ******* awesome game. I'll admit that I hated the first two chapters (bethoven ghost was tooooo hard for poor duster) but it finished strong. Great characters and humor and mechanics.

How do you beat the Mecha Drago?

I've fought him 3 times, each time he does a final move that "Mortally Wounds" your character. I die when he dies. Even if I have 170+ HP at the time.

******* annoying. Walkthroughs online just say "If you have over 40 HP you should survive it." ********* 280+ damage.

Ya, turns out that's the problem.

Kinda wierd that you have to spam A fast enough so the battle ends before it registers all the damage being delt to you.


So, moving on, what is this combo thing? It says to press A with the beat of the music, and I can get maybe 2 if I'm lucky. There is so many different sounds in the music I'm not sure what beat I'm supposed to be hitting with, or even when it starts.

yeah most of the time whenever i get combos is randomized, just tap a quixckly at certain patterns and if you get a second combo the remaining hits are easy to get; just keep the beat

I personally was not a fan of how they did that
