Hi, i'm new at this (long time wow player) and i have a n00b question:

i tried to play a little bit, reaching as far as taking out a few goblins then i had to log out. When i returned, the quest started again, that is i have to play from 0 all over again. What gives? When does the game save?

The game is constantly saving. It updates as you progress.

What quest are you doing? If you are still in the solo instance at the very beginning of the game you might have to complete the instance in one go.

The good news is that no matter which race you choose, the beginning instance isn't very long!

thanx and yes i am in the very very beginning. i just played a few minutes killed a few mobs and logged out. then when i logged back in, it made me start from the start!

You do need to finish that one in one go..

I made an LM the other day, logged out half way thru and had to redo it...

Musta taken me nearly 3 whole minutes!!!

Deleted LM about 20 minutes later.......
