And here my friends would be an example of intolerance. While this poster could of just been done after their first paragraph and sentence, he or she felt the need to go on only to talk badly about the subject. This isn't the place to preach religion, but this isn't the place to attack it either now is it?
I don't know what's worse.
People who are intolerant, or people who can't tolerate intolerance.
Oh wait, nevermind.
Seems I'm making a hyocrite of myself.
I can't tolerate you being intolerant about someone else's intolerance.

Yes, I am intolerant of intolerance. But then you are intolerant of my intolerance of intolerance. And so it goes.

Ahem... Uggalepih? Promathia? It is rather rude to not even acknowledge the religion of others, even if they are out to kill us every time we step out of town..

Hell, there's not even much agreement between christian sects.

I am not interested in christianity, it has done more harm to this world than any other organized religion since the dawn of time (even more than Islam). The judeochristian religions are a cancer on this earth. I can count on one hand the number of christians I've met in my life that I believe embody the teachings of their prophet.

Keep your religion to yourself and I'll keep mine to myself. "By their works shall ye know them." That test of this particular faith pretty much negates most of what christians try to preach.

The hypocrisy...

First of all, why should people stay silent? I believe that if you disagree with something, you should speak out against it. This is how the market place of idea works.

I also do not think you understand the measure of intolerance, it is an advertisement expressly for individuals for a single religion only, for whom sharing its ideology is prerequisite for membership , sounds like anathema to the idea of tolerance to me.

In contrast, Allakhazam forum actually incorporates a large group with various walks of life and political backgrounds and ideologies. For some of us the only common ground maybe only FFXI, but wait, this is not even anything related to FFXI.

Well, welcome I guess. I think we've had a few groups try to start up before, with various degrees of success. Problem is, FFXI is based in Japan, where they think that Christmas is the anniversary of the day Santa Claus beat the giant overlord robot Kris Kringle in a death grudge match of doom.

I really don't like these kinds of ideas, MMO players can be younger and more impressionable, not to mention some are very socially inept, this just feels like brain washing brigades to me. If I had children that played a game like FFXI I sure would not want people like the ones running that website that are targeting them to be in a position to influence them during their playing time.

Maybe it's harmless but when these religious organisations go into online games it seems more like praying on people to me.

I get enough religion in my politics, and everyday life. Don't bring it into a game people use to escape real life.

From there Prishe went up to San d'Oria. As she was walking along the road, some new adventurers came out of the town and jeered at her. "Go on up, you detestable child!" they said. "Go on up, you detestable child!" She turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the ALTANA. Then two rarabs came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the new adventurers.

Can you get faith skill ups by preaching during MMOs? My faith skill is lacking and I'm looking for a good place to raise it. Thanks!

Yes, the linkshell is (or at least, was) from ragnarok. I remember the thread you're thinking of.

If reflects badly upon these forums when people cannot just be somewhat friendly. So you decided to post it in a form entitled "Final Fantasy XI General Discussion Forum" despite it having nothing at all to do with FFXI.
