A lost Magiciian looking his way to homeFollow

Hello, 5 years passed the last time I loged in EQOA, I lost my account because I didnt know after 3 months inactive you can lose it...

I been playing all this time FFXI, but every year I remeber what I left and I never could get back my magician lev 50. I am thinking to come back, but I dont know how is going the game at this time.

Will I find players to play with them ? Is the game death ? could I find a community to do events, quest ect ... I am not scared if I have to play with my magician all the way solo but there are many qust I need to do with others and sure solo I cant do it.

Please tell me if I come back I will find a game where I can find others players to play together ^^.

3 Months? There are people(including myself) who didn't log on for much more then 3 months and still had their account.

Thanks for the answer. I am now looking for EQOA froentiers and trying to get it for a good price .. I live in Erope and geting the NTSC version here kill me in paying the fees of shipping and aduane T_T ...

They shut down the server I think, but any North American copy will go on our servers(needs a NA playstation too I think).

Best price..eh can't help you really. I say if you find one for about 30ish...that is a great price. I think the price should be reduced greatly. I own 4 copies. First two paid 25$ last two. Which I bought...maybe last year. Can't really recall. Wasn't long ago I know. I paid 50$. I still say I was ripped off. But eh, what can you do. I wanted the game to quad box so I bought em.

Now, I play one. and not even. I stopped playing for about 3months now. and have no desire on returning.

What race is your mage? If it's anything other then eastern human then yes your starting city will be deserted. But as longer as you are level 14 and below you can talk to a Porter NPC, They will send you to Freeport and Qeynos if your good or Neriak if your evil(if you start in qeynos, neriak or Freeport there isn't one), their names will be _____ Porter and can usualy be found near the coachman, let me know your race and I could help you find it.

But heres a big hint, get one thousand tunar from somewhere, farm it or beg or whatever, I'm sure you could find someone nice in Freeport if you use the porter NPC to get there. But once you have 1k tunar go and talk to a City anouncements and purchase a boon of hagley, you will get it in your inventory target yourself and use it like a food/drink item.

Then the leveling will go 4 times as fast. If you start a brand new toon with the Boon doing quests levels 1-15 will get you to level 17, and each time you turn in a quest it bumbs you to the level for the next one, so there is no need to xp inbetween levels.
