I've got it downloaded, just waiting for the servers to come up. I know my minstrel Casanova was in TiNFS, but not sure I'll be playing him or if I'll be rerolling. Mostly, I just want to play a lute and grow pipeweed.

There are tons of people [still] listed in the kinship, who have not logged in, in over two years. I can think of only one or two people who were EVER kicked from the roster. Most who left, did so voluntarily, in good standing and with best wishes (*drama free zone*). I would hazard a guess and say many came from here when LoTRO launched in 2007. So many changes but the kinship has remained since the get-go. Perfect time to pop in and say hi, or jump back into the game!
I wonder if I'm actually still in the kinship, or removed due to inactivity. Maybe when the patch gets done I'll login and see.

I popped in on my minstrel the other day, after having been absent since late 2007, and I was still in the kinship. I killed one monster, and due to changes in the experience required for leveling, I went from halfway through level 28 to almost 31. Then I realized I had no clue what the fifty buttons on my screen do. Think I'll probably make something new, but still undecided as to what.
BT is correct, my toon was still in the kinship. Like him I made 1 kill and jumped 2 levels.

Ok, logged in today and saw someone from Fifth Star run by me, but couldn't tell who it was, haha.
I've got a character named Eloniel and I forgot the other one. I logged in for a bit and ran a couple of FedEx quests to get the feel for things again since I haven't played since umm... last winter? Anyway, I tried to do a /who on the Fifth Star, but does that not work on guild names?
Anyway, I'll try to watch out for you guys.

I'm usually on Druson right now, added Eloniel to friend list, let us know your other name and I'll add it to watch, Dotsie is usually on (or any other of his Dots) Kits been on and off part of the day. Keep looking we'll find ya!

Okie doke. I'll try and log on tonight. Been messing around in EQ2 today, they added new quests and house items, gotta have 'em! haha
Just logged in a second ago and both my characters are gone. Exited the game, logged back in, they're still gone. I know they were on Meneldor. Not sure if this is because they were created before the game went F2P or what. I checked the forums, no one else is saying they've lost their characters.
Eh, no biggie, really. I was kinda thinking of making new ones anyway since I've kind of forgotten some stuff and it seems like quite a bit has changed in the months I've been gone.
I'll make one named Nadenu so it'll just be easier for everyone.

Just rolled a Dwarf on Meneldor yesterday. The name is Fulcro - I'd love to get to know some people in the game and do some adventuring together. I've heard so many good things about the game, so I'm pretty excited about playing.

Hey all, I just re-installed LOTRO on my computer after a friend convinced me to join him to play once in a while on his server...which means, pretty rarely. After reading through this thread, it's nice to see some of my old pals are still around and that you all play fairly often. I still have my characters on Meneldor - would it be possible to get an invite back into TRINFS? I should be able to stick around longer now. =)

No kidding....New F2P Dots (not all are officers though :(): Dotros, Dotsie, Dotrix, Dotwulf, Dotwen, Dotorin, Dotwing....
An update for anyone who might stumble upon this forum:
TiNFS is now a care-taker kinship. Many of the original ZAM participants have moved on, and kin activity is at a low ebb. The kinship will remain, but many of the 'mains' are in process of seeking a more active kinship, either for raiding or just group content.
Many alts will remain, so there will be a place for anyone to hang their hat if they want to play around with being in a kinship. You will find a few alt farmers like Instigator or Dot around if you need a hand.
My projects at the moment are a F2P-VIP account of the Dot Army and a brand new F2P only Hobbit character that is going to remain in the Shire for the most part (maybe the Free zones and Skirmishes), but not 1 dime will be spent on this account.
You can still look us up in game if you want, but I think it is time we dropped the 'unofficial ZAM kinship' label.

So I logged in for the first time today in Aaages. I'm sure you're all aware about the SOE shutdown, so at least for now I need my fix so I'll be playing Dyadem if I can learn what my buttons do again (actually I've already knocked out a few quests today).
I'm also on the F2P model and no Eriagorn (dang npcs keep telling me to buy so they can offer their super fun quests).
Anyway, hope to see some old faces and some new ones :)
